The Printmaking area within Art Gym Denver is over 3,000 sq. ft. of dedicated space focused on Silkscreen, Photo Lithography, Plate Lithography, and both copper plate and zinc Intaglio. Two Griffin intaglio press, one Griffin lithography press, one Fuchs & Lang lithography press, and silkscreen capabilities up to 31×41 O.D. frames.

The Etching Show features a mix of intaglio techniques, specifically working in zinc and copper. Created in celebration of the Month of Printmaking, The Etching Show offers viewers the rare opportunity to see a show dedicated specifically to etchings. Seven local artists will have work on display: Brian Comber, Laura Grossett, Viviane LeCourtois, Mark A. Lunning, Megan O’Brien, Geoffery Ridge, and Grant Williams. The Pattern Shop Studio is thrilled to once again partner with Master Printmaker Bud Shark for Denver’s Month of Printmaking (Mo’Print) with an exhibit of his work entitled “Shark’s Ink: Collaborations II” The show includes dozens of spectacular prints by artists who have collaborated over the years with Shark at his Lyons studio and press. Press Play is a national juried exhibition featuring artworks created in any print media. “Play” is integral to the the theme of the exhibit and can be interpreted widely to include artistic, exploratory, imaginative, athletic, theatrical or other connotations with regards to the media, context or content of the work.
